Studio Djembe began with a clear creative ambition: to contribute to the growth and revitalisation of African animation. Founded in Cape Town by Connor Rhoda, the studio was built on a passion for storytelling, visual identity, and bringing ideas to life through motion.

As the digital landscape evolved, so did the studio’s approach. What started in animation naturally expanded into a broader focus on content, where storytelling could move faster, reach wider audiences, and deliver measurable impact for brands.

Today, Studio Djembe leverages its roots in animation and content creation to provide brands with innovative digital solutions that bridge the gap between local and global standards. The studio's mission is to empower businesses to tell their stories through compelling visuals and creative strategies that connect with audiences in meaningful ways.
